Basketball Brescia is ahead with Della Valle and coach Magro

The Ferrari patron has announced a new three-year deal with the guard. The team will not make it into the European Cups
After almost a month of silence since the last league game, Brescia have announced the first steps for the 2023/24 season. Patron and chief executive Mauro Ferrari has announced that Brescia are back at the start with coach Alessandro Magro confirmed on a two-year deal plus another with departures in June 2024 and Amedeo Della Valle whom he has renewed for the next three seasons will go. Matteo Cotelli is promoted alongside Magro as deputy, while the rest of the technical staff remain unconfirmed. Marco De Benedetto also remains, who will follow the Lombard team’s scouting until the end of August: a new leader will be brought into the company and it will not be Salvatore Trainotti, whom various rumors had linked to Brescia.
No to cups

Ferrari criticized the Eurocup format and also announced that Brescia would not participate in the European Cups and would only focus on the next championship. At the same time he confirmed the budget for the last season in which Brescia triumphed in the Italian Cup. I’m waiting to know the calendar and location of the Supercoppa Final Four that the Magro guys will participate along with Olimpia Milano, Virtus Bologna and Tortona and that will be held on September 23rd and 24th, hoping that it takes place in Italy not in the United Arab Emirates as has been speculated somewhere.
