Sunday's Chiefs vs. Chargers matchup in Los Angeles doesn't mean much when it comes to the NFL playoffs. With that in mind, are the Chargers a sound play as a 3.5-point home game favorite or is there a better bet on the board?

Kansas City Chiefs DFS rotation
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Isiah Pacheco (quad/shoulder) plays in Week 18 against the Chargers. Pacheco should be listed as questionable for Week 18, when the Chiefs release their final injury report. Despite Reid's comments, it's hard to imagine Pacheco being fit for a meaningless game against the Chargers. The Chiefs are locked in at No. 3 and have already given Patrick Mahomes a week off. If Pacheco is cut, Clyde Edwards-Heller and LaMical Perine will be the only two running backs on the Chiefs' 53-man roster.
Los Angeles Chargers DFS rotation
Joey Bosa (foot) will not play in Week 18 against the Chiefs. Injuries in recent years have slowed Bosa down. The veteran has appeared in just nine games this season, totaling 20 tackles and 6.5 sacks, and has appeared in just 14 games over the last two years. A foot injury that has sidelined him since November will keep him out until the end of the season as he now looks to be back in time for the 2024 season.

Chiefs vs. Chargers Prediction:
Take the following. Today at SoFi Stadium I could see a team being held to 10 points or less. Both teams will play backups and the Chargers lost as it is. The Chiefs are attractive as a 3.5-point underdog against a Chargers team that won't have Bosa, Justin Herbert or Keenan Allen, but they aren't the safer bet.
