Monza, Borussia della Brianza: the story of Furio Zara

When dreams weren’t in HD and Ugo Tosetto even dribbled daisies, Europe at Monza meant a prize trip to England to a seaside spot equal to our Jesolo, only colder, fewer umbrellas, more bingo halls and a naval battle underway off the coast, complete with admirals ordering the attack but pretending: it was a historical reconstruction and in the end we all went to the pub together. And so today the Monza of Berlusconi and Galliani – two who have conquered Europe on multiple occasions – perhaps worries a little about the journey across the border; These stories from almost fifty years ago offer us the impetus to tell the reality of that Monza that experienced its heyday in the 1970s.
