Marcus Washington Hail Varsity’s Jacob Padilla reports (hand) will be available for Thursday’s opener against Minnesota. Washington, who has been limited in fall camp after suffering a broken hand over the summer, is “ready to play,” according to Washington coach Matt Rule. The 6-foot-2 senior appeared in all 12 games with the Cornhuskers last season, totaling 31 receptions for 471 yards and a score, and he should be a top target again in 2023.
