Raptors vs Hawks general betting information
The NBA's public betting information page shows that 60 percent of public bettors are currently backing the Hawks. This information may change throughout the day, so be sure to check the link for the most up-to-date public betting data.
Toronto Raptors daily fantasy rotation
Raptors guard Emmanuel Quickley will miss Sunday's game with a right quad contusion. The former Knick is averaging 16.7 points and 6.1 assists per contest in 12 games with the Raptors this season. Toronto will likely give Quickley minutes to veteran guard Dennis Schroder.
Toronto will likely be without a starting center Jacob Poltel The Austria international was also listed as doubtful on Sunday as he is still recovering from a sprained left ankle. Before the injury, Potel had averaged 10.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in the first 36 games for Toronto. Thaddeus Young, Jontay Porter and Chris Butcher should all see increased playing time in Poeltel's place.
Atlanta Hawks daily fantasy rotation
Hawks small forward DeAndre Hunter will not play Sunday. He is nursing an inflammation of his right knee. Hunter is averaging 14.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 24 games for Atlanta this year. Atlanta will most likely bring Sadiq Bay to the starting lineup instead of Hunter.
Atlanta will also be without a power forward Bruno Fernando Sunday evening Maryland alum is dealing with back spasms. Fernando is averaging 2.9 points per game in 6.5 minutes per contest this season.
Raptors vs. Hawks NBA betting trends
Toronto is 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games against Atlanta.
Toronto is 36-33-3 ATS since the start of the 2021 season as a road underdog.
Atlanta is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
Atlanta is 3-12 ATS this season as a home game favorite. This is the third worst mark in the league.
Raptors vs Hawks NBA prediction:
Both teams are struggling at the moment. Raptors and Hawks have both lost their last 4 games. Both teams are 0-4 ATS in the same stretch. The difference has been Atlanta's terrible record against the numbers this season. The Hawks are 11-34 ATS overall this season, worst in the league.
Additionally, Atlanta is 5-21 ATS after a loss this year and 4-21 ATS in 2024 when playing an opponent on a tie break. Toronto will be without Emmanuel Quickley or Jakub Poeltel in this matchup, but the Raptors should have enough depth to make up for their absence. In a slightly opposite game, I like Toronto to keep this one between two possessions in Atlanta on Sunday night.
